Ways in Choosing the Best Home Care Agency

 

  • Licensed, Bonded and Insured 

  • Get  Recommendations from friends, Community Groups and Healthcare Network 

  • Figure out what kind of care is needed from your doctors and  nurses 

  • Research Home Agencies. The number of years an agency is in operations does NOT guarantee the quality of care provided. Most times new ones offer innovative solutions and oftentimes it depends on the quality of Caregivers provisioned.

Various ways clients can Finance their need for Home Care or Home Health Care

  • Personal or Retirements Savings

  • Long-term Care Insurance -  helps cover the cost of senior care at home or in a nursing facility. It helps protect your loved one’s assets and can cover much of the cost of home care, depending on the policy terms. 

  • Medicare/ Medicaid - we provide our services to persons with Medicaid and/or Medicare coverage. Our RN will develop an individualized plan of care for each patient,  then ESSENCIA will provide one of our best Caregivers to the senior client. 

  • Veterans Administration Programs - offers programs that can reimburse veterans for home care based on certain qualification criteria. Please visit VA Benefits and Healthcare .

  • Family Funds - close members of the family can support their loved ones financially in providing the best Care for their loved ones. 

  • Home Equity Loans, Reverse Mortgage - if you have an equity on your  home, you  can probably qualify for reverse mortgage. A reverse mortgage is a loan against your home that you do not have to pay back for as long as you live there. With a reverse mortgage, you can turn the value of your home into cash without having to move or to repay the loan each month. These funds can then be used to pay for home care.

  • Private Pay/ Private Health Insurance Services - can be paid out-of-pocket directly to ESSENCIA or through private insurance companies. Following an initial assessment by a registered nurse, a personal plan of care will be created based on the RN’s and/or physician’s recommendations. Patients will then be assigned a highly qualified Caregiver based on patient location, language spoken and care needs. A follow-up visit with an RN will be scheduled as needed. All our services have flexible hours and can be coordinated within 24 hours of the request.

Invoicing/ Payment Options

ESSENCIA offers a choice of payment options for your convenience. We generate invoices for our services on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on the frequency of service. Invoice is emailed to POA or client immediately foregoing week/s of service.

Our invoices are detailed with the dates and times of service with enclosed Caregiver or Nurse's  Time Sheet and Care Notes.

 

Most of our clients are “private pay,” which means they submit payment directly to us each billing cycle. For your convenience, we accept payments:

 

  1. via Checks mailed to ESSENCIA Home Care and Medical Staffing, Inc. 

  2. via Zelle to 773-218-2388 OR EssenciaHQ@gmail.com

  3. or if paying using Long Term Care (LTC) Insurance , please provide Name, Policy# and Date of Birth of client on our Contract Acceptance Form (CAF)

The soonest we receive your payment, we shall mail you a Receipt of Payment.
