Our dedicated ESSENCIA Registered Nurses are equipped with knowledge and skills in Clinical Services such as: Pain Management, Educating Patients and their families in terms of Diabetics, Medication, G-tube and Ostomy Care, Advanced Wound Care, Nutritional and Respiratory Services as well as IV Therapy Management. 

 

There are several categories of Registered Nurses all of which specializes in areas of such institutions as hospitals or Nursing facilities:

 

* CARDIAC CARE NURSE - They work with patients and the families of patients who suffer from heart disease. While cardiac care nurses are often specialized critical care nurses in the hospital, they can also work in patient's home assisting with cardiac drug monitoring and providing care to patients who have undergone bypass, valve replacement, heart catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, or pacemaker surgery. They educate patients about lifestyle changes to increase functioning and monitor them during physical workouts to prevent over exertion and/or injury. 

 

*BURN CARE NURSE - These kind of nurses work in specialized units to care for individuals recovering from injuries suffered from fires, explosions and contact with caustic agents. 

 

*CRITICAL CARE NURSE - Nurses who care for patients acutely ill or patients in critical condition. These nurses often must use sophisticated computerized equipment. They are responsible for the emotional welfare of patients and their families at times of life-and-death crises. 

 

*DERMATOLOGY NURSE - Nurses in this field provide education and care for patients undergoing diagnosis and treatment of wounds, rashes and diseases of the skin. 

 

* EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT NURSE - are Nurses who work to maintain vital signs and prevent complication and death. Nurses in this field provide care for patients in the critical or emergency phase of an illness or trauma and must be able to recognize life threatening problems and rapidly arrange necessary care. These nurses are not limited to only working in the emergency room of a hospital . 

 

*ENDOCRINE NURSE - Nurses who work with patients with broad spectrum of metabolic and hormonal clinical conditions. 

 

*GASTROENTEROLOGY NURSE -  These Nurses work with patients who need testing or treatment for conditions that affect the esophagus, stomach and  colon . The patients could have an acute illness with symptoms such as severe abdominal pain or diarrhea or chronic conditions such as ulcers. 

 

*GENETICS NURSE - Genetic counselors work as members of a health care team, providing information and support to families who have members with birth defects or genetic disorders and to families who may be at risk for a variety of inherited conditions. They identify families at risk, investigate the problem present in the family, interpret information about the disorder, analyze inheritance pattern and risks of recurrence and review available options with the family.
