The ESSENCIA story

Launched in 2005, ESSENCIA Home Care and Medical Staffing, Inc. was conceptualized by professional and service oriented team with expertise in the field of Healthcare, Marketing Communications, Public Relations and Information Technology. Transcending the unique profile of ESSENCIA  is a pool of multi-talented, innovative, young, vibrant, dynamic, compassionate and dedicated management and staff all working together in the pursuit of making a difference in the Healthcare industry.

 

ESSENCIA  prior to launch initiated a market research among industry players and found the following :

 

• the goal oriented Medical and Healthcare employee have minimal assignments at times either unemployed or underemployed;

• some training modules from nursing schools, from in house facility and hospitals are rather ineffective;

• most nurses are overworked and underpaid in most facilities and hospitals;

• presence of “well rounded” staff nurses are gradually declining;

• patients not getting their well deserved quality care and attention.

 

Given these findings, it is with profound aspiration that ESSENCIA attempts to eventually challenge these conventional and unproductive scene, with our mission to deliver a premier and innovative healthcare, which adheres to the highest standards of care, while preserving the rights and dignity of patients while at the same time giving our employees the opportunity to grow, develop personally and professionally and their hard work remunerated accordingly.

Why the company name ESSENCIA?

​

Derived from the word "essence" or "essential"  and the current and most used word "essential workers". Essence means:

• the intrinsic nature or indispensable quality of something, especially something abstract, that determines its character

• an extract or concentrate obtained from a particular plant or other matter and used for flavoring or scent.

Relating to Healthcare Industry,  ESSENCIA constitutes that which is inherent that which is absolutely necessary , that which is the very nature of healthcare which  is nurturing , caring,  healing and compassion.

Why the logo? 

​

Two officers of ESSENCIA had experienced working in an ad agency and our brainstorming session came up with a logo that  represents the coalescence  of flora and fauna. You can see an abstract of a bird, a tree, a flower and a drop of blood - all of which symbolizes life formed into a lamp. 

 

This Medical Lamp of Knowledge or Nurse Graduation lamp or  Lamp-lighting is a tradition followed by all Nursing graduates to remind them on the noble traditions of their profession. This tradition commemorates the heroine of nursing, Florence Nightingale, who was seen in the dark alleys with a lamp while caring for the injured soldiers of the Crimean War.

Now we present to you the reorganized ESSENCIA  as your premier and  preferred staffing firm for Healthcare Professionals from Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses (RNs) , Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)  , Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to Caregivers. We have expertise and resources of highly skilled nurses  for deployment to public and private healthcare and medical facilities within Midwest as well as Caregivers for facilities and home based senior clients. 

 

Unlike most staffing firms, ESSENCIA  is not all about lip service. Our action embraces the fundamental principle of excellent care practice, deliver a caring and nurturing medical service to our patients with hopes of improving their quality of health and life.
